A home for a growing family
Sarah’s kitchen was bursting at the seams. So, we created a spacious kitchen-diner where the whole family can cook, eat, and chill together.
Seven people, plus a Bernedoodle - can you imagine the chaos at breakfast time?
The big challenge in this traditional Guernsey farmhouse was space, or rather, the lack of it. We tackled it head-on by replacing a cramped 1970s extension with a bright, open family area that seamlessly connects to the gorgeous garden outside.
This transformation was a collaboration between A7 Architecture and Bonsai Group. A7 took the lead on reimagining the architectural elements, while Bonsai brought the spaces to life with captivating interiors and lighting schemes.
Our favourite feature? The statement ‘tunnel of light’ corridor that connects the old farmhouse with the new extension.
