We think this converted WWII personnel bunker is the ultimate hideaway for any aspiring Scaramanga’s.

Built in 1942, Bunker Six Eighty One once housed 12 German soldiers and now stands as a modern 3-bedroom beachside home with a living roof, perfect for sundowners.

This project was a real labour of love and presented some unique challenges – like how to introduce natural light and ventilation into a space built to withstand artillery fire!

P.S. It’s the only fully converted personnel bunker in the British Isles (that we know of - pretty cool, right?)

“We’ve worked with A7 for over a decade, and as bunker conversion virgins, we needed a team who really understood the challenges of transforming a redundant space - especially a WWII relic - into something remarkable. We dedicated five years to this project, and A7 were with us all the way.”
