Homes for heritage fans
The task was clear: renovate a listed granite barn and create two new builds.
Once home to 19th-century farming equipment, this historic barn has been thoughtfully transformed into two 2-bed and two 1-bed homes, designed to honour its past.
Original features, including oak A-frames, were carefully salvaged and retained wherever possible. Reclaimed pantiled roofs complement the protected structure, while meticulous work was carried out on the stone fabric—inside and out—to repoint, damp-proof, and preserve the historic built form.
The new builds echo the barn’s character, with natural granite pathways, slate roofs, and heritage-style timber windows.
